The Nemophilist's Trail- Muir Woods

Nemophilist is a word that isn't used much – but it  surely deserves greater currency!
It means someone with a love or fondness for forests, woods, or woodland scenery, or someone who often visits them – a ‘haunter’ of woods.

  4. Nice narration, Sandeep. While watching this video, I felt nostalgic as I was reminiscing my past when I used to live in Palo Alto, often I would arm myself with my camera gear and hop on a bicycle to take along ride through that redwood forest area, including that Muir Woods National Park. I guess, I didn't face the parking issue....!!! He,he,he...!

  5. Well, this was a pretty unique perspective for me.. ... you initially mentioned that the girth could be up to 22 feet, so I pondered. My living/dining room length is about 24 feet. Then a short while later you were reading one of the fallen redwood's rings - a colorful life history spanning 1000+ years with labels like milestones, all on a 6 foot diameter trunk...
That's when I really started to ponder about the 22 footer.
I'll set it to verse probably.
    Thanks for the insight !
